About

An educational NPD-pattern screen, explained simply

This site offers a short self-assessment inspired by themes in DSM-5 criteria for narcissistic personality disorder. It is for reflection and education—not a clinical interview or diagnosis.

Who it is for

Adults who want a structured way to reflect on grandiosity, admiration needs, entitlement, empathy, or related patterns—before or instead of a clinical conversation. Language is written for readers across the US, UK, and EU.

How scoring is commonly read

Each item scores 0–4 (some reverse-scored), for a maximum of 80. Bands such as 0–23, 24–48, and 49–80 are informal guides for reflection—not clinical cutoffs for NPD.

Editorial accountability

Copy is maintained by Narcissism Test Editorial—a named collective desk, not a licensed clinic and not a single clinician byline. We write educational screening literacy—not clinical advice, treatment plans, or personal clinical experience. Health claims cite public clinical sources (for example DSM-oriented overviews and peer-reviewed trait research). We correct factual errors when readers flag them.
